About this website and its author...

This site is dedicated to a new way of thinking -- about life, about faith, and about culture.

As people of faith, we cannot sit idly by as the world changes. We are called to be engaged and active in bringing about justice and peace. We do not often take this calling seriously. We do not often understand the radical claims of Christianity. It is my hope that this site begins a conversation about living faithfully.

I am a young man living in Anchorage, Alaska. My wife and I are the proud parents of two little boys, and a grad student at the local university. As my faith journey has progressed, I've become more and more intrigued by the intersection of spirituality and culture. I am learning that the interaction between the two entities is extraordinarily complex and far-reaching. As the world around us rapidly changes, it is the duty of people of faith to examine their beliefs in light of these ever-changing cultural forces. That is the purpose of this website.
